THINGS TO DO:

PLEASE DO NOT NEGLECT FEVER, VOMITING OR DIARRHOEA:

Please do not neglect fever, vomiting or diarrhoea in your pets even if it stops after few days, take them to veterinary doctors to ensure it is not symptoms of any other other dangerous disease)

WHEN ANY SYMPTOM APPEARS PLEASE DO NOT WAIT, TAKE THE PET TO DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE:

Do not wait more than a day if your pet is acting abnormally. Take the pet to doctor as soon as possible. Saving your pet is highly possible if you start medical treatment at the earliest

NO INCOMPLETE VACCINES:

Do not stop vaccines after one injection, continue till the last booster. Stopping vaccines not only makes the previous vaccination shots useless but also does not protect your pet from the disease you vaccinated him for.

GIVE YOUR PET NUTRITIOUS FOOD WITH MEAT AND RICE:

To recover from any disease your pet needs energy and immunity. To get a strong body your pet needs good healthy food. Please don't feed him vegetarian food or rice and curd or remains. Your pet animals are non-vegetarian naturally so please feed them meat and if you can’t cook meat feed them pedigree, drools or any other pet food. This is very very important for their survival.

TENDER LOVING CARE:

Pets are like children they crave love and affection and support especially when they are not feeling well. Take loving care of your pets as they loved you when they were healthy. Keep your pet close to you. Almost all pet diseases are not contagious to humans so don't be afraid to be near them and care for them. Keep them under your supervision and let them sleep in the same room as you.

DO NOT MISS MEDICATION DOSES:

Give them the proper medication given by the veterinary doctor at proper time and don't forget it.

DO NOT LET ILL DOGS PLAY WITH STRAY DOGS:

Do not let your pet play with stray/ street dogs until he becomes well. Your pet may spread them the disease or they may give your pet infections.

GIVE YOUR PET REGULAR WALK/ EXERCISE:

Give your pet regular walking and games. Physical activity boosts immune system thereby higher chance of survival. But not all diseases allows your dog to be fit for physical activity so confirm with the pet doctor whether he needs exercise.

DON'T CRY OR BE SAD NEAR YOUR DOG:

it is very understandable you’re are sad about your dog's condition but be strong and supportive when you are with him it keeps him hopeful because if you feel sad or cry he will also feel sad  and cry and feel dejected because he can't make you happy! So be strong and supportive for your dog he will thank you for that!

POSSIBLE DISTEMPER SYMPTOMS IN SHORT:

on and off fever
